Curried Lentils Recipe:
  • 3 Tbs onion-dehydrated
  • 1/2 cup carrots-dehydrated
  • 1 Tbs curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 quarts water
  • 2 1/2 cups of dry Lentils
  • 1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbs Chicken Base
  • 1 Tbs granulated sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
Bring 2 quarts of water to boil, add the Lentils and carrots and lower to medium heat. Cook for about 35mins. Add the Chicken Base, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, curry,cumin,ginger, and red pepper flakes. Lower to simmer and continue cooking for about 20-25 more mins or until ready to serve.
